Founded in 1979, the Mendocino Food & Nutrition Program (the Fort Bragg Food Bank) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation. Our objective is to distribute emergency food to and improve the nutrition of needy residents of Mendocino County. Once a week, clients may pick up a bag of staple foods and choose from a variety of fresh produce, bakery items, and limited quantities of meat, eggs and dairy. Once a month eligible seniors and families with children under age 6 may also receive a box of staple foods through the Commodities Supplemental Food Program (CSFP).
